How do you perceive the role of an IVF courier, and what goes through your mind knowing what you are carrying in your hands?
Being an IVF courier feels very meaningful and rewarding. I know that what I’m transporting is extremely important to patients and their families, so I take the responsibility very seriously. At the end of the day, I feel good knowing that I played a small but important part in helping someone with their journey to become a parent.
Transporting biological material requires high precision. What personal qualities are essential for this job, and how do you handle the pressure of tight deadlines and strict procedures?
It requires me to be dependable, punctual, careful, and focused. There can also be pressure because timing and proper handling are so important. It can be stressful at times, especially when dealing with traffic, tight delivery windows, unexpected delays, or strict procedures. But for someone who enjoys being organized, independent, and dependable, it can be a very fulfilling career.
You have a background in the military and security. How does this experience help you in protecting such fragile and irreplaceable shipments?
Having been in the military and worked across the security spectrum, I know what it means to protect. That mindset translates directly into this work—knowing how to maintain vigilance, follow protocol, and protect irreplaceable shipments under any circumstances.
You mentioned that family and children are very close to your heart. How does your personal life story connect with your daily work at BioCouriers?
I always enjoyed being among kids and even tried having kids of my own, but life hasn't given that gift yet. Nevertheless, I feel content carrying life, caring for life, and protecting life whilst being an IVF courier.
Looking back at your journey, how fulfilling is this role for you overall, and how do you feel about your team?
For the last few years, being an IVF courier has been very fulfilling and meaningful. I couldn't ask for more professionally. I'm truly blessed being part of the BioCouriers team.
